Hello!

Maybe this is old news, but maybe not.

In atleast one episode on the last six years you can clearly
see the iris code entered to the G.D.O. device.

So my question is what is the SG-1 ´s iris code.

There is no prize for answering that other than
your own happy smile if you are right. But I think
that to true fan this is no hard task to find out.

I will send the answer next week and I will include
the episode name also.

But until then, happy hunting.

PS! Sorry if my english is bad it´s not my native language.

I would imagine, if they are being accurate, that it would often change for security reasons. Therefore there would never be one set Iris code.

The Iris Code is...

OpenUpNow123!! :rolly2:

I know that Colonel O'Neill's code appeared in "Cold Lazarus"; the display showed the code and the person who was sending it.

That's all I can contribute for now.

Good question, nemo!

"First" also recites it in "Unnatural Selection". I don't think that really qualifies as a spoiler...
Too bad I don't remember what he says.

Hi Again.

Well for your Information.

Little hint G.D.O device has a nine digit keypad.
What means that in the code there can´t
be no zero (I mean 0).

PS! Major Samantha Carter entered the code.

Thats all for now.

PS! Still sorry for the bad english.

That would seem like a good idea, but in Season 1's 'There but for the Grace of God' the code was the same even in the alternative reality.

I don't know what it is though.

Ah - it was a badly phrased question! ;)

There are effectively TWO iris codes:

1) what they type into the device - which you want to know
2) the code which the GDO transmits to the SGC - which is what I supplied...

Apologies for the confusion.

One more hint.

Hi again!

Here is little hint for you.

In the episode Foothold all the SGC codes are changed.

And the coce I speak of is visible before this epsode.

well, jack's is
903224637

it's possible that all 4 members have the same code. of course they also have a '911' code. It's stated in one episode that the returning team is coming back 'code red' which meant that they were under fire. This suggests that they have at least 2 codes to use.
one for normal circumstances, one for emergencies

I would also think that they'd have a 'wrong' code theycould use. For example, if they are captured by the goauld and tortued for their code, they could give a specifically false one that tells the sgc who they are and that they've given the code under duress.

There is no zero at the G.D.O device.

Hi again.

There is no zero at the G.D.O device.

Here is the picture of the device.
The numbers you see in the base cant help you because
to get the iris open you have to send something else.

For yor information it is a seven digit number.

I disagree - sort of.

"You" don't send anything... you type in a number to the GDO, which encodes it, and then sends that number to the SGC... which we then see received as an IDC by the various technicians...

I agree, but when hostile is torturing the SG- 1
I´m sure they need the code what is needed to
punch in the GDO device.
Not the coded data what nobody knows.

Don´t you agree?

Yes, they'd need the hand-typed number...

...but we DO know what the "coded data" is - its the IDC which appears on the Dialling Computer's screen in the SGC... (and given above)

Week has passed
and as promised here is is the answer.

The code i asked is:

2 6 3 1 2 9 3

and you can see it in the episode

Tok´ra (Part Two)

Season 2 episode 12

Not to say you are wrong or anything, but in the season six episode Unnatural Selection...

...when the replicator/ andriod got into Jack's brain, he sadi Sg-1's iris code, I haven't seen this ep in a while, but I thought it was longer than the one you wrote. I could be wrong though.

This is the code that Carter entered to the GDO.

In past four years they have changed it atleast two times.

so it is not so impossible that they have made it longer also.

i know you have been talking about the code used to open the Iris but aside from possibly changing it occasionaly. dont forget that every team has a unique code. this is known as before people in the control room have been able to tell what team is trying to get through the stargate. also it acts as sercurity if SG12 is on (example i dont know if they exist) P3X 912 and the code come in from a gate dialled in from P3X 657 know what i mean?

but that seems not to be problem because in episode
2010 they opened the iris, when the SG-1 was in the base.

also when sombody dials in they dont know whre its from.

so if I understand you correctly all of this that you said does
not seem to be correct.
