Okay, since I have a couple of items to mention, perhaps a single thread for new announcements might be best and then we can discuss the individual products in their own thread when they become available.

I'm not making that a requirement, but a strong suggestion to cut down on clutter.

Region 2 - Buffy Season 6 pre-order for a May 12 release.

OB-Wan, my sources have the S6 DVD due out on 14th April, has it been rescheduled to allow OMWF to come out first?

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Season Seven - Part 1 (episodes 7.1 - 7.11) European (PAL) VHS box set can be pre-ordered for a 23rd Jun 2003 release.

How do you guys do that?

I don't believe that any complete seasons are available commercially on North American (NTSC) VHS's. They only release a limited selection of episodes each season on videotape here.

You lucky dogs.

Yeah - all I've ever seen are the 'select' episode box sets -

Not only that - but we have to wait until FX runs all the eps before we get the DVDs in the US --- *sigh* --

I think they're also working on some new figures too - those 6" statues - I know they have some new ones coming for Angel - not sure on Buffy - gotta check my magazine again -

I guess this is where the syndication thing comes in. There's one showing of a series over here and then it seems to be free to turn up on VHS or DVD soon afterwards.

Yep - release to DVD / video is the only thing that really sux about syndication - well, that and the hatchet job they do on the eps -- *sigh*

The good thing is with FX and broadcast stations you can get over 20 Buffy episodes a week!!

I was on a business trip with a friend and Buffy was on in the morning while getting ready for work, just after work while making dinner plans and on late night just before bed.

We kept laughing because everytime I turned on the set - there was Buffy!

Dunno how new these are - but they are rather amusing:

BtVS Cardboard 6' Stand-ups!

They have Spike, Buffy and Angel - they're really nice quality too - (at least they look that way from the piccies) -- ;)

The only thing I don't get - why is the Buffy one 6' tall? that's like 8 inches taller than Buffy actually is --- Angel and Spike - they're pretty close, but isn't SMG like 5'4"? 5'6" or so w/ heels? *shrug* I didn't make 'em - just saw 'em --

Truthfully - I never knew you said that - b/c I haven't been back to your forums since I commented on it --- ;)

I'll go back - honest --

And ya - a friend of mine was gonna buy me the Spike one - but I told her I didn't have anywhere to put him - so, she'll have to wait ------ ;)
