Last week was the final shooting for Buffy the Vampire Slayer
There is still some production work and editing to be done, but for the cast, the writers and most of the crew, the end has come.
As a fitting finale, here is a picture of Joss standing in front of the Sunnydale Cinema. The marquee has finally been changed from the super-long-running, "Dude, Where's My Car?" (supposedly Marti Noxon's favorite film) to read "BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER" and the movie house is clearly marked "CLOSED".
"Apart from Angel, no spinoff [is] in the works right now," Whedon said in an interview. "I think it's a very likely possibility, but there isn't anything happening right now. We all just kind of want to bask and relax." (scifiwire - www.scifi.com/scifiwire)
As for Buffy characters crossing over to Angel, the word is a definite "maybe". Joss has been qouted as saying, "...as far as I'm concerned, everybody should stop by" and "...we'll also be seeing some Buffy characters on it."
But when pressed for details the discussion always evolves into "if we can work it out", "we're still exploring possibilities", etc... which all translate into (as Joss has said) "Time and money, man. Time and money."
It's art but it's also a business.

Nicholas Brandon update:
According to nickbrendon.com, he has shot a pilot for FOX for a series titled, "The Pool at Maddy Breakers".
The show is about three twenty-something ladies who worry that they may have already lived their best days. Nick plays a friend and ex-boyfriend of one of the stars.
The site has also started The Nicholas Appreciation Project. As a way of saying "thank you" to Nick for his work on Buffy they are asking viewers to make a donation to his favorite charity, "The Stuttering Foundation of America" As many of you probably know, Nick suffered from a serious stuttering problem which he managed to overcome and now he tries to help others.
