Alien Car 1986

Do you guys remember this? It's a concept car based on Alien. I remember watching a show about this car where the designer stated he got the idea of the smooth dome with all the mechanical bits underneath from the Aliens head. He even said you might be able to unplug the engine and slap in a larger one when needed....LOL

Anyway, this could be one of the ultimate Alien props don't you think? I'd love to have one!

I guess it has a certain charm. Here's some more pics. I think the original sketch looks more like the real alien. I guess somewhere down the line the design changed a bit.
