Ah well, you'll be wanting to come back in November then won't you - to see our real live astronaut!! (along with Mr Shanks and others of course... ).


The Gulf War mark II irritated us all, as up until then more of us were going to get the behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. When the war started, the US govt initiated a lockdown of all their facilities worldwide, military or civilian - and since Tidbinbilla is a NASA facility it was included. The guests still got their tour only because the bloke in charge of the whole schebang is a sci-fi buff.
