CAN ANYONE HELP ME?????

I need to know if anyone knows the bus that would go from the Seattle, WA airport to Vancouver!

I'm thinking of flying into Seattle, WA and taking the bus ride over to Vancouver but I want to know which one and if it is feasible.

CAN anyone help me or give me pointers?

Or am I better just doing the flying bit completely? It's over $125 more to fly directly to Vancouver.

Just asking.

Thanks.

Hi!

I have taken that very bus ride, and can tell you that it will be an awful lot cheaper than flying to Vancouver. The buses go very regularly from SeaTac (Airport), and take somewhere in the region of four hours to get to downtown Vancouver, but if you are staying at the BEst Western, where the Con is, you can get dropped off pretty much right outside the hotel.

There are a couple of different companies and for some reason the figure $25 sticks in my mind.

I'll do some digging and see what I can find website wise to help you out.

Did a quick search and found the company I went with before:

You will find lots of documentation and schedules there. It looks like a return will set you back CAD$74. Amtrak ( www.amtrak.ca ) also run buses and trains, but the bus won't give you the same door to door service, and the train is more expensive and would also require a bus transfer into Seattle itself.

So you'd save money going by bus, but lose time. Seattle isn't a bad place to spend a day either - there's Pike Market and the Space Needle and the Experience Music Project (I love that place). At that time of year I travelled back and forth a few times between Seattle and Vancouver, and the buses didn't seem to be very full, and the waits at the border checkpoint were pretty short.

I hope this has helped you to make your mind up, one way or the other.
