Welcome to AsciFi, Apothis

And thanks for the information. It looks as if there is some life in this new version yet.

Thanks Ray for the nice welcome. I am in the wait and see mode. I won't give final judgement until it airs. From the few things I have seen, I do think it shows promise.

A most wise decision and I agree wholeheartedly.

Hope you will find your way around some of our other forums too.
We'd love to see you and are sure to make you welcome! :)

Cool pics. I'm all for waiting to see something before judging it too, but for the sake of the uninformed on this board, I should point out that Apothis has indeed already made up his mind. He's made up his mind so much, in fact, that he swarmed at least three forums with more than two dozen fake handles in an attempt to argue down Galactica fans who were pro-continuation. He and a partner manufactured an entire fan base, posting literally thousands of times over a period of at least six months. It was a long and detailed plan. He has since been banned from two of those boards. Colonialfleets.com and subspace.com. He's infamous in Galactica fandom.

Thanks for the tip Captain Cumquat, it will be bourne in mind.
Though 3 posts hardly constitutes a blitz.

My reaction is that perhaps the playing field with the anti's is merely being levelled a little?

It is stressed that Ascifi welcomes peoples comments and points of debate whatever their viewpoint, provided they are within the guidelines defined by our Rules of Etiquette. As such those extolling the virtues of the New BG are as welcome as those claiming otherwise.

Clarification: I didn't mean to suggest his three posts here were a blitz, just the 10,000 or so that he and his partner did on other boards where they pretended to be more than two dozen separate people. I also have nothing against what he's doing here -- which is representing himself as one individual. Just wanted to advise everyone on this person's background so that whatever opinion you form from his posts, it's based on knowledge of his background.

5 of the new teasers that aired during Stargate SG-1 last night has been added to the website. Also 5 new video game clips which are from the Alpha version have been added. No music but sound effects and the computer telling you what type of weapon you have on. Also 21 new pictures from the video game have been added including a picture of the first commander of the Battlestar Galactica, Commander Magnus. Also a picture of young Ensign William "Husker" Adama is also available on the website.

I really enjoyed the teasers that aired during Stargate!!!! It got me really excited to see it!

Anyone watch or record the Stargate SG1 premiere on SlyLie, & checked out the BSG lite ads out
Six months till the new BSG, SlyLie is pushing the new Battlestar Galactica lite…………HARD

Bad news, I came home, my son a 17 y/o and five of his American Legion baseball team buddies were watching the new Stargate SG1 season on TV, recorded on Tivo. Tivo allows you to skip 30 seconds of ad time with one button push, and allows frame by frame viewing.............

I almost missed the Battlestar Galactica The Mini Series in 2003 ads. They are very short almost subliminal, each one was different, but were replayed on each hour of the new episodes of Stargate.

First President ‘Dances with Wolves’ she was on for like two seconds.
Then the new BSG logo, Battlestar Galactica The Mini Series coming in December 2003 on Scifi.

2nd ad was a black cover being taken of a Viper, a very clean museum looking Viper.

The 3rd was a shot of a hangar crew in action, with Starbuck-ette in a very clean Viper.

The 4th was a BABE (Tricia Helfer) in a bright red dress, sans underwear with Baltar, I used Tivo to replay this one frame by frame. She is drop dead gorgeous, a nice pair of boobs, and far from being a virgin. She looked like she could suck a golf ball through twenty feet of garden hose so easily as puffing on a Lucky Strike.
Then the new BSG logo, Battlestar Galactica The Mini Series coming in December 2003 on Scifi.

The last ad was Olmos, walking in a futuristic well lighted room alone, he looked like he had a world of trouble on his shoulders.

Edward James Olmos is by far the best actor on this show.

All six young guys were very impressed. So was I, except for Starbuck-ette she seemed to be cast against type. To damn cute, the new Tigh has got to be a wimp, to let this little bimbo push his buttons. IMO
