A recent post on Buffistas.org apparently says so:

"What's the rumpus?"

Hi. It's late. I couldn't sleep, AGAIN, thinking about next season's first ANGEL, which I will write and direct. All aflutter. Then I came here and got to do the thing, read posts from people who are just
discovering Firefly... My god, it feel something other than crappy. Thanks.

I am still fighting to make more. Amazingly enough, I may not be insane. Keep your fingers crossed. But regardless of the future, I'm so happy to see you all embracing the firefly cast, because the next time there's a big-a$$ convention in England, I wanna bring 'em along.

They're even cuter up close.

Thanks again. And by the by, I'm afraid my commentary on the Objects in Space DVD may be the most pretentious, psuedo-intellectual twaddle in the history of me talking. If it is, do me a favor and just kinda don't mention it, okay? Really appreciate it.

How cool! I wonder how they know it is really Joss?

Well, I can't answer for sure, but I have been reading a lot of interviews with Joss lately and it does sound like him.

Of course, Nathan Fillion is supposed to be starting a series for NBC, so you have to wonder whether he will be available for cons except in the most rare cases.

I've been trying to get some information on this pilot (Alligator Point) - I know it taped about a month or two ago, and there was no mention of it at all during the "Upfronts", so it might not make it to full series at all. Mind you, I am not exactly Miss-know-it-all when it comes to the vagaries of the US tv situation :D

Well, you know, I feel rather silly now.

I just checked the NBC schedule and found out that "Alligator Point" didn't make it on the schedule, so I guess Fillion is available to make a movie and attend cons after all.

I checked a few other networks just to make sure that it wasn't picked up somewhere else.

Let's see:

Fillion's series didn't get picked up.

Gina "Zoe" Torres is in "The Matrix Reloaded", but her TV series with Danny Glover in an African-American Crime Drama set in Oakland, California didn't get picked up.

Alan "Wash" Tudyk is reportedly filming "I, Robot" with Will Smith.

Adam "Jayne" Baldwin has had roles in a few films since Firefly and is reportedly filming a movie called "Monster Makers" which I have no details on.

A quick check revealed no current projects for the rest of the cast.

Yep, its a shame :(
I guess the pilot could get picked up for midseason or something, but I read that Paula Marshall had signed on to it - and I am pretty sure she is the kiss of death to any sitcom. Just check her imdb page (Hidden Hills, Cupid, etc etc)

Although... do you think there will be a constant parade of familiar faces wading through Angel S5 perhaps?
