Hey there Jaffa Jim! I only post sporatically now since I don't have as much time as I used to. Glad you're still around! Are you enjoying new eps of Stargate?
 
Yeah, but I missed last weeks- I was out of town and the power went out- the cable box defaults to off when the power comes back on, so the Tivo missed it- I did find it for download though.

So how's life treating you?
 
I have a TIVO also and have the same problem when the power goes out. They've got to come up with a way to fix that from happening. What if you were away for a week, then all of your shows would be messed up.

Life is good! I've changed jobs again....making more money (yeah!). Still looking for Mr. Right though. How about you?

I've been married for over a year now and settled down pretty well. I'm still in the same job at the jail, but looking to move up in the near future- unfortunately, more college is probably gonna be necessary.
 
Congrats ont he marriage! Good luck with more school. I odn't think I could go back to college now. Way too much work. Yikes!

Be careful what you wish for. Marriage is rewarding, but you do long for the single times. Anyway, you have a he11 of a lot going for you, as I remember, so some lucky guy is going to make you happy- you probably have the pick of the litter anyway :)
 
On this topic, the BBC News website in the UK has just featured a report which suggests that women do better financially when they become married, whereas men do better if they then get divorced....!
