It seems a wierd show to me, watched an ep once, al I have to say is:

Im not necessarily a realy big fan, there's just a new R&S show on TNN and it just reminded me of it. I mean who couldn't love the log song.
I can understand if the episode you saw was one from the third season. Nick basically stole the show from another company that was making it for them and crapified it for the third season.
Even if you dont like the show you should still at least read the first part of the link up there. It has some interesting things about the history of cartoons that I never knew.

Hes an asthma hound chiwawa (a dog) named ren, not a rat

You can tell it is a Chiawa, there is more meat on a rats leg.

I think about the only cartoon I've watched that is worse than Ren and Stimpy is Crystal Tips and Alistair!

I think Ren and Stimpy is a required taste.

The illustrated close ups of boils, puss, and ear wax was rather detailed!

Still, I was always a fan of "Happy Happy Joy Joy" and "Don't Wizz on the Electric Fence"

I said its not AS good as the original. Its still a good show to watch for half an hour and watch your brain cells die. And plus, the show the original ones after the new one.
