Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series

It seems that Amazon has unloaded all the Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series was #8 on DVD sales until they sold out. Universal put out 100,000 copies. Amazon has ordered more but be careful the new mini series that will air in Dec. 7th 2003 is in preorder also.

Edward James Olmos plays Adama said:
"Don't Watch My Program," Advises Star
In one of the oddest promotional appearances ever before the TV Writers Summer Tour, Edward James Olmos, who is starring in a new Battlestar Galactica miniseries due to air on the Sci-Fi Channel, gave this advice to fans of the original Galactica series, which aired on ABC between 1978 and 1980: "Please don't watch this program," Olmos said. "Buy yourself the new DVDs that they're putting out of the old episodes, and whenever we come on, just put that one in. ... Trust me. Don't watch it. If you're a real, real staunch Battlestar Galactica person, please don't watch it.

Interesting

I find it scary - and telling - when a person invloved with a new production warns people about watching it.

I know my own personal feeling about Sci-Fi's 'adaption' [which are not good, I might add]...
