Did you all see the **** review that Stargate (the movie) received from the resident TV Week bofoon David Stratton ?

Here's a portion of my email to TV week about his review.....

Dear TV Week,

I Think that David Stratton should stick to reviewing movies of his own genre (That looks the be the late 1900's I would think).

His description of "Ludicrous" of the Saturday movie Stargate (showing on Prime) simply shows his narrow mindedness when it comes to reviewing films that are plainly obvious not to be of genre's he likes, and simply shows his inability to view or like movies that require the use of ones imagination.

I would simply like to review his reviews, and one word comes to mind..... Ludicrous

I would have to definitely agree.

It's absolutely ridiculous that that movie critics feel the need to criticise stuff they obviously don't understand or appreciate. Mr Stratton is usually a decent critic, but when it comes to sci-fi he should stick to his own porridge.

Sometimes I think criticising and judging films is pointless considering there is an audience out there for everything, and it's impossible to rate something without somebody disagreeing.

Yes... that kind of review was uncalled for!! The film must have been half alright if it's spawned a popular worldwide syndicated series that's becoming a franchise!!
