I recently had to reformat (again!) and lost my favorites due to user error (didn't back 'em up)- I used to have a great link to a site that let you download SG-1 episodes- does anyone have any links?

No, I wouldn't think they'd put it on a board *cough*PM*cough*. There were a few good places to go, but they get closed down every now and then.
