OK! WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!

Well....last night's episode was just wonderful. I am one of thse people who find Jack O'Neill's absence from the scene in Season 7 to be a great loss. So, after having watched the offerings so far in Season 7, it was absolutely brilliant to see so much Jack O'Neill in Allegiance ...... ahhhh, the good old days of Season 6

And, although I'm not a great fan of this kind of episode (with the rebel Jaffa [I wasn't crazy about Warrior] and the now perpetually whinging and whining Tok'ra), I did thoroughly enjoy the show.

Particulary, when the Tok'ra-snooty-bugger tells Jack and the Jaffa how they've been fighting the Goa'uld for millenia and Jack replies "Yeah, so when are we going to get some progress on that?" (or something like that). Very nice

Yes, that was definitely the best line from the episode

I loved the episode... mainly for the fact that it had both Bra'tac and Jacob in it (my two fave charaters... and actors).

Oooooh!!! I shouldn't be reading this!!!!! lol. I'm afraid 9:30pm is a little bit past my bedtime (sad, I know, but hey, I want to be able to function at work the next day ) , therefore I had to tape it and haven't had the opportunity to watch last night's episode - but I am way pleased to hear that it has Tony Amendola in it... My friend in London met him at a con last year, and she said he was a lovely man.

yes! I loved that part too. We refer to it as "Jack's big F$#K off gun".

I noticed alot more, especially some well placed Jack/Tealc comradery. (I really hate to spoilerise this, since if thats a spoiler I must be Thor, but I might get sued otherwise.)

It's because RDA wanted more time off to spend with his daughter so he's only working 3 1/2 days a week. So most eps in S7 are Jack-lite. It's very obvious and very artificial. So, if you're a Jack fan, it's a bit disappointing.
