So . . . we've now been given a season 7, with a promise of a season 8; movie after that? A Threequell? Why not? Everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon when the fans make a fuss.

So - at the end of season 8 do we kill anyone off for a big lead in to the movie?

[The beginning of Movie No. 2 is, of course, an incredible opportunity to create a huge number of good looking Jaffa Warriors . . . ]

What is your vote?

I put this in the "Sam" section because, she is surely not going to be killed off, but she does need to know who is coming and going during the next season. :D

I won't be happy about it, but I think killing off Selmac/Jacob will be the most emotional choise.
Sam loses her father and the Tok'ra a big Goa'uld with much knowledge.

You know, I won't be happy about the end results (giving the planet a reason to go to war), but killing off that a** Kinsey would really make my day!!!

Every now and then there comes a really good character you just love to hate! You watch a particular show because the combination of a great writer and talented actor/ress combine to make a truly "hateable" character that is fun to watch. Somehow you admire the character when he/she craftily gets ahead, but you keep watching to see who gets them in the end! [Who Shot JR?]

In this series, Kinsey is just too real by comparison to the . . . jerks who do have his job. I'd rather go back to work at the courthouse for an hour than watch his character during an epy.

KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!! KILL KINDSEY!!!

You know, I'm with you kill Kinsey. :D But I definitely understand the point of Giorgio and I know probably some of the more love characters probably have to die but I can't vote for it. Is too painful. :( So Kinsey is the real choice I have in the list, Maybourne could be in another time but I definitely have learn to really apreciate this character.

As for Kinsey they played with the idea but left him alive at the end. So, I'm sure they probably will go with one of the popular ones.

Krystal :p

Since the epy when Maybourne first helped Jack, Maybourne's gone from being a jerk to being the guy you just can't help liking! His sarcasm/wit is great for the show. I don't want to kill him off . . . at least not yet . . . :upto:

Selmac: I think this is the best choice. He (Carmen at least) is getting old.

Jonas Quinn: You know, I'd LOVE to see Quinn join the SG: Atlantis cast, so no killing him off. I know it's just wishful thinking, but let me.

Major Davis: Maybe, he's not really needed, but there wouldn't be much impact

Makepeace: Ummm, watch season 3 again he's not likely to return for any eps

Senator/President Kinsey: He could be a good recurring-charector for Atlantis.

Harry Maybourne: Hell, I'd love to see HIM join Atlantis too. Hehe. I want to see more of him, but I don't want him dead.

Kill off Kinsey, he deserves it! :D

If they did kill off Jacob/Selmac, I would want sam to loose it and go on a revenge killing spree (I wanna see her go darkside )

Oh yeah ! Evil Sam ! :D

Or how about a Sam double? Divide her up into a totally good Sam and a completely bad Sam. As smart as she is, the only person who could stop bad Sam would be good Sam. :disturbed

I noticed there are 2 "kill Jonas Quinn" votes. Any particular reasons?

I did on accident, becuase it would be cool to see a much-beloved charector make such a big sacrifice, but then I reliezed I'd much rather have him be in Atlantis, but it was too late. I loved JQ though, he came at the right time when DJ WAS getting a little stale charector-wise.

Hmm thats an interesting concept, how would they do that then? There would have to be an alien machine that split her up or something??

I was think more along the lines of, she goes mad with greif and goes on a killing spree and when they find her she's all catatonic like.....
...then they take her back home and try to bring her out of it (in the end Jack does it) and there's tears and hugs and .....I'm really just trying to put more Sam/Jack shippyness in it lol
but I think its a good idea!

It would be cool to see her taken by a Goa'uld, and then during an attempted extraction process the personalities of host and symbiote get blended into one, so she has this internal struggle going for a few episodes before they find some kind of solution.

Since the Tok'ra are being wiped out, does she become a Tok'ra, and Jack has to decide what he thinks about it. :erm:

hmm, I like that :D
What if Jacob was dying and she became host to Selmac to preserve what little of her father that she can, and they all have to deal with the moral issues and see how they can accept her with it :D

bray'tac

As much as he is the best char, To kill him off would be a great way to get teal'c into a frenzy. I fit was someone like Anubis at the other end of the weapon it would be a great face off. Bray'tac is the way to teal'c's temper

aw, thor!! I really like Bray'tac!!! :crying: But I think your reasoning is great - and if Teal'c ever came close enough, killing off a "god" with your bare hands would probably be a great Jaffa fireside story!!! :fangs:

I've been watching DLM lately and I think that kinsey should die by walking out of his house and getting struck by a giant cod falling from space (well I can't use the idea of a toilet seat again can I)

:D

Actually if Richard Dean Anderson leaves the series or his schedule conflicts too much to the point he has to miss entire episodes I would like to see Maybourne come in and join the team on a limited number of missions.. He is a great actor

under that scenario I say we have three or four of the best looking jaffa join Sg1 just to help out while o'neill's gone. :naughty:
