Just a couple of things to help speed your registration process along.
#1: Bring a copy of the email showing the ticket purchase or a copy of the credit card statement. If that's missing, contact Richard Pasco {his email address is on this page }. *OR* show me [or any of my very efficient staff] photo ID [passport, drivers license, military id, stuff like that] and we'll be fine.
If you have the slightest question, just ask me for personally and we'll work it out.
#2: Remember: You can only pick up *your* ticket, no one else's. You can't pick them up for your room mates, flight mates, you brother, etc. They have to pick them up themselves. That's for they protection and yours {I mean, you don't want to have to explain to your friend you lost their ticket, do you? ;} }. Proviso: *Very special situations*, such as a medical emergency, will be dealt with by me on a case by case basis.
#3: If you've bought someone else's ticket tell Richard Pasco ASAP! He'll be doing the final printing of name tags and such soonest and he has to make sure we've got it right. Also, he has to make the right changes to the ticket database. If *I* don't have your name on the database for 'ticket # such-&-such', you may have to wait a long time while we process everyone else through and try and figure out what happened. Richard needs to know the following:
Who originally bought the ticket, it's number, their address and email address.
Your name, address, email address and new code word.
Without this, things will get bogged down as I *will* take every step necessary to make sure the right ticket goes to the right person.
#4: Registration will run all day Thursday {and Friday and Sat with a partial on Sunday if needed} and the only event scheduled on Thursday is the cocktail party in the evening *after* reg closes, so there's always time to sort it out. {And me *may* be running reg for a couple of hours on Wens, but not for sure at this time so check the lobby Wens AM}. Just don't expect to fly through reg is you've got potential ticket problems.
Last year, the average amt. of time someone spent standing in front of one of my team {that is, when you actually got to the front of the line and in front of a body} was around a minute. I usually break reg into 4 lines based on alphabetical last name, so it really does move along.
Don't worry, we'll take care of you and speed you on your way to enjoy the con.
