Least favorite character

My least favorite character is daniel jackson, whats you'res?

Ah, actually mine is Col Simmons. Dispite the fact I'm a serious Jack/Daniel fan, I did enjoy Jonas toward the end when TPTB gave him a chance to build his own backstory and flesh out the character a bit.

I am the crazy person who has Sam as her least favourite character. I think the introduction of Sam Carter at the beginning of the series was a sop to the typical 'we have to have an attractive female in the show' ehtos that pervades the US media and entertainment industry.

Since then and despite the best efforts of Amanda and her acting talent, Sam has turned into this rather strange example of the female gender with special stuff (Jolinar) and a brain to rival the fastest and most powerful computer and an apparent complete inability to connect with any of the opposite sex without them feeling threatened or actually biting the dust. I'm not sure what in heck the writers were thinking when they put her together. One thing I do know, is that if I hear one more banal comment about her being the perfect real life role model, I may just explode and run amok with a P90.

Kinsey and/or Simmons -- the guys you love to hate.

It might have been Maybourne had he stayed in the good graces of the NID and the Airforce.

(BTW, I don't understand why anyone thinks that Sam in particular is unlucky in love. Daniel and Teal'c haven't done so well in the romantic arena -- both losing wives and sweethearts along the way. So far, only Jack has managed to keep former love interests alive.)

Out of all the chars listed so far I'll go for Simmons. I love to hate Kinsey, but Simmons just annoyed me.

If I remember rightly, Jack wasn't exactly unwilling, and their parting at the end totally excluded Sam, which indicated more than a little feeling on his side for Laira. If after seven years Sam and Jack haven't sorted out their feelings and done something about it, then they seriously both need to find a life of some sort!

true, I understand what you're saying, Jack was with the I wanna stay with Laira club leaving Sam in the dust. I flet sorry for her at the end when she had fought so hard to get him back and he didn't wanna.

I liked Orlin, if Sam and jack didn't get together I'd have liked her to get together with him (even if he is an alien, he is soo sweet )

I know what you mean, but if he wanted to stay so badly then then he should have gone to see her again! (Or maybe he did and we just don't know it!)
