I watched this film on the sci-fi channel and it was great.
I was wondering where is the best place to get the book

Think you will find that with the exception of Gods of Riverworld, most of the saga, written by Philip Jose Farmer, is now out of print.

Your best chance is somewhere like Amazon's secondhand books section

Ive read the first two book To Your scattered Bodies go and The Fabulous Riverboat . I absolutely loved the concept behind this series of the river and the fact that everybody who ever lived is this place. The Syfy channel adapted the first two books , and they films were overall ,decent.

A terrific writer.

He also Worte an excellent Doc Savage novel Escape from Loki . I wish he'd written a few more of those.
