How often do you watch Stargate?

The topic says it all, how often and for how long do you usually watch Stargate, weather it be DVD's, TV or PC.

I have the movie and seasons 1, 2 and 4 on DVD and i'm continuelly watching them throughout each day. My DVD player and TV are behind my computer so usually when i'm gaming or posting on forums I usually just have it running in the background.

I also watch the double episode that shows here in Australia every Thursday.

Stargate & Macgyver
are the 2 shows I watch
the most. and I can watch
them over and over again
with out getting tried of them.

How is the scifi scheduel changing?
As of now:


Sunday- Random D.V.D. Ep's from season 1-4, 3 hours

Monday- Scifi 4 hours

Tuesday- Random 1 hour

Wednesday- Random 1 hour

Thursday- Survivor night, none

Friday- scifi 2 hours

Saturday- UPN, 1 hour

12 hours (or more) a week

Ah, let's see...

Monday: the Sci-Fi marathon [4 hours now and upping to 5 in the near future] - fairly easy as I have a small tv near the computer and can check it out as I do comp. maintance.

Tues - Thurs: catch as catch can - remember that TV I mentioned?

Friday: At least once, if not twice depending on the episode.

Sat & Sun: as I find it.

So, it may not sound like much, but when I'm not watching I'm usually on the computer modding forums [like this one and 'Our Stargate' on Delphi] checking out my email lists, trying to learn to do graphics, working file maintance and working on web sites and/or trying to write fic. Since most of the above is fandom related, I guess it should count.

My Stargate hours are many, just not all in front of the TV.

I usually watch it about three or four times a week...if I have the time sometimes more if I can!

I have all the eps broadcast so far in the US on either VHS or on DVD, as well as the movie on DVD. I watch as the mood desires and time will allow.

Because I have everything recorded without commercials I tend to be less faithful with viewing reruns on TV, but I do spend Monday 7-11pm and Friday 9-10 watching Sci-Fi. Lately there's been overlap between Sci-Fi Mondays and UPN Saturdays, so I don't always watch on the weekend.

So I figure I watch about 6 hours a week with occassional binges now and then.

When Sci-Fi returns to S7 in January, I'll be watching both runs on Friday evening (can't stand "Scare Tactics" and am missing "Farscape" so I'll have to find something to fill 10-11pm : )

Does anyone know when R1 DVDs for S5 will be released?

Depends. SOmetimes I have month-long kicks where I watch it a lot, sometimes I don't. Right now, it's only twice a week becuase I am taping season 6 off of syndication (*). When I get the S5 DVDs I'll watch them and prolly eps from the first 4 seasons as well, and when season 7 starts back up here in the US I will prolly re-cap the season and watch some past-season eps as well.

*: I watch it when I am taping it, and then later in the week watch the ep again to see how good I did editing out the commercials. I have a system down and everything, using a stop-watch to know about when it's going to come back from commercials and stuff.

what you don't get the 2 seconds of stargate pic & music when it goes & comes back from commercial? We do. makes it easier (except you have to know that the last commercial it comes back without warning because they seem to run out of time.

I watch new eps of Startgate every Monday night
....the re-runs everyday
and I have all the eps on dvd so I watch them a lot (at kleast 2 eps a day of them)

So everyday, sometimes more than one ep

i watch stargate sg1 when i can or if my parents arnt sick of it.
i only hav season 1 on dvd, but i hav the others taped.

I love this show and always watch the seasons I own. I own 1 2 and 3. Im waiting for number 5 so I can buy 4 and 5 then I can get a deal for buying more then one season. But this show is my fav. show on TV and I think the new spin off show might come in second if its good because the Stargate idea is great.

I usually have Stargate on the tube on Monday nights and watch on Friday. I have the season DVD's that I put in occasionally whenever I'm having a Stargate mood.

:rolly2: And I'm sitting here thinking I'm crazy watching these episodes over and over and over...etc. again. At least I'm not the only one!

I now have seasons 1 through 5. With school out and work on Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Friday, when I'm not sleeping, going to the bathroom, or at work, I'm watching stargate or am online on stargate related sites.
