With the sudden death of Richard Biggs, he will certaintly have to be replaced. Besides, the character of Dr. Franklyn was on Earth when the plague infected the planet, therefore, his range would be limited to moving only within the confines of quarantined Earth. However, we did see him guest starred on Crusade when he was in a glass contained environment on the starship Excalibur. And we don't see him again until the final episode, Sleeping In Light. Anyway, I think Jennifer Balgobin as Dr. Hobbs would be the natural choice since she took over Medlab. Ever since the character of Dr. Hobbs was introduced in the episode, Interludes and Examinations, she has left a huge impression on me. Besides, she's a cutey! ;)

Keeping up with the Babylon 5 universe has become such a headache - I'm afraid Babylon 5 effectively finished at the end of Season 4 for myself - anything else after that I've seen has been very sub-standard. That makes me sound so grouchy, doesn't it? :)

For me, the lost of appeal of season 5 was because Susan was gone :( I dearly dearly loved that character!! Oh, and the introduction of.. Brion? Or something. I dearly dearly hated that guy. I DID find the ending of the series to be very sad and emotional.. and the develope of Lita not bad.. but it should have been Susan! :(

While I like Ivanova, I always preferred Elizabeth Lochley because she was tough while still retaining her feminine side. I've found Ivanova to be way too masculine for my taste. And while the final episode was at times sad and emotional, I don't consider it a happy ending or sad ending. I thought it was a gracious ending.
