OK, I just finished watching Season 4 this afternoon. I forget how quickly this one moved to tie up the plot threads. The Shadow War over, Sheriden's war against Clarke etc. Some really great story telling made my bottom lip quiver a couple of times. G'Kar being whipped so the emporor can have his scream, Sheriden's betrayal and Capture, Marcus's giving up his life for Susan. Brilliant. This series seemed to be very much of sacrifice with most of the characters having something taken away from them.
It's just such a shame that they had to cram so much in to such a short amount of time due to their belief that there would be no series 5. Whilst i didn't feel that the season was rushed, i definately think that the fifth series suffered as a result of JMS trying to tie all the plot threads off.
As for "Deconstruction of Falling Stars". A Weird episode, but one that gave us hope for humanity's future. I always felt that this particular episode was JMS's way of letting us know that he has faith in Humans. OK, it will be a struggle and we may kill ourselves off, but he believes that we'll get there in the end.
Anyway, it'll be the TV movies next for me before i go to series 5.
