I know there's another thread in which we were talking about this but I can't find it, sorry :(

Is still no way to download the great, fantastic and lovely Gatecon '03 music vid?
I'd really love watch it again and again.

I think there may be a copyrite thing that might prevent it, but I'm not totally sure.

Yes Row, you are right. There are big copyright issues with releasing the music video.

BUT... I was going to leave this as a surprise (if it pans out). I am currently talking to Vanessa Amorosi's Management and Record company to see if we can get the music vid put onto the Gatecon DVD.

They all have copies of the Music vid as well as the last 2 Gatecon DVD's so they can see who we are and what we do... And so they can see how good the music vid is :rolly2:

I havn't heard back from them yet this week... But it's been a big week for them with the ARIA music awards, and they are the same team who has given us Delta Goodrem (If you havn't heard of her... YOU WILL) who just picked up 7 ARIA's out of 10 Nominations (the biggest haul in Aus music history).

So, no promises here... It's ultimately up to them. And with the release deadline approaching, I would need to have them approve it within the next 2 weeks.

Will keep you posted.

FANTASTIC NEWS

Thanks to the wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL people who manage and produce Vanessa Amorosi it looks like the Gatecon 2004 Intro Video WILL be on the DVD.

BUT... We have a very limited license, and it will only be available on the first 250 copies sold... So if you want a copy of the DVD with the Music Video get in quick... We are well over half that number now (and we are still in pre-release sales).

BTW... Did I mention how wonderful Vanessa's agent and Record company are :D :D

For me, this is fantastic news... Not only can we use the music vid, but it gives some world exposure to a GREAT Australian artist.

Hmmm... All we need to do now is to get Vanessa to gatecon to sing the song live :D Yeah, I know.... In my dreams :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

That's great news! IIRC, was the DVD slated for release later this month? Any idea when they may start going out?

Yes, they were originally planned for release at the end of next week, but with this recent news I have to do some modifications based on the record company's requirements, so The DVD's will be shipped for USA, Aus/NZ, Asia in 2-3 weeks, and Europe and the UK a week after that.

That still gives plenty of time for the DVD's to arrive before Christmas.

Just ordered...

I *was* going to hold off until I could afford the whole set, but you just shot that idea in the shorts, Allan. I just put in my order and I hope I'm in that 250... :rolleyes:
