I now have a copy of this new exciting tome... If you don't see or hear from me for a few days, it's 'cos I'm engrossed in it and can't do anything else!!! :D

I love the comment on the back of the book... Referred by the Guardian Newspaper as: "Distressingly addictive"... Think I might change my sig to that!!!! :D

Anyhoo, once I've read it, I'll do a review of it... Watch this space!!! :p

I was told on the phone by Waterstones that the book was not out until Monday. Inform me of where and how you have a copy? Please.

Well, my good man, after numerous problems that I have encountered with Waterstones and W H Smith and Borders, I now do all my book shopping through Amazon... Ordered the book 3-4 months ago, informed it was shipped/posted yesterday and delivered bright and early this morning... :D

I cancelled my order with Amazon weeks ago due to money shortages. Damn! Thanks for the heads up mate.

I've read it - pretty typical of Feist's later work. It's an easy, enjoyable read, but nothing special. It's a shame that since he wrote the Riftwar Saga and Empire series he hasn't been able to write anything nearly as good.

I've just recently bought this one and started it. So far it's alright. The Riftwar Saga was the first real fantasy I ever read :)

The Riftwar Saga was the best that Feist has done... It started the whole Midekemia/Kelewan story... But as it goes on, there isn't anything that really stretches the reader... Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Feist's writing and have most of his books... But, still, it would be nice for something new to be done...
