Do you think Andromeda is better or worse without Rev Bem and Tyr?

I think the show could use Tyr to make things more interesting with the Nietzcheans (sp?). I thought Tyr had the potential of becoming an even more developed character, and I would have liked to see more of his past.

I agree with you about Tyr. I also think Rev Bem departure left a hole in the show. I miss both characters. Is not that Andromeda is better or worse, I suppose that when original cast left it always left something out. Andromeda is definitely not better without them but it isn't also worse. I would have to say is different. I still enjoy it but can't hide that I'm really happy when they bring them as guest stars it bring back some good memories of the beginning.

Frankly, I'm not too happy with the way Tyr's acting now. And I *sure* am not too happy with his hair!

*NOW* he's just another cocky Nietzchean who thinks he's capable of ruling the Universe! And never mind the everpresent threat of the Abyss, aka Mr Enigma (which moniker I MUCH prefer!!).

Sadly that is a consequence of Keith leaving Andromeda, it looks like they have to change his character to make him the really bad guy and have an excuse to kill him. His last representations of Tyr for me wasn't exactly what Tyr was about, for me his character always was more complex not so clearly bad or good. At the end they select the more easy way out I suppose.

It was about time for Tyr to go. The will he or won't he betrey the crew plots were getting old. So I have to say I don't miss him that much.

Rev Bem is another matter. The idea of a holy man from a race breed to be killers intrige me. Know that we have future Magog running around and the worldship is in commonwealth space his views would be welcomed. Now if they could get the make up right.
