I really enjoyed this episode
A spatial distortion hits the ship and goes through Archer leaving microbes in his brain that prevent him from forming any long term memories. 12 years in the future, Archer is told the story by T'Pol(who stayed with Archer as his nurse) of how the human race lost the fight with the Xindi. Earth, Mars and several earth colonys where distroyed by the Xindi and there are only 6000 humans left on a new planet. Phlox discovers a way to distroy the microbes and finds that when the microbes are distroyed they are gone from all prveious scans of Archer's brain. T'Pol thinks that if all the microbes are distroyed that time will reset to when Archer was hit by the spatial distortion. She's right and noone remembers what happened.

I'm currently watching this episode and I've been enjoying it. But, all of the suddon....I realized I had be watching STTNG "All Good Things". No it's not a direct copy....but it's........

It's very similar to a number of Trek episodes, but 'All Good Things' was the most similar, with the loss of memory, the reset button ending, and even down to the Earth and the Enterprise being destroyed. They say that with so much Trek made, it will always be possible to compare something to something previously made. But in that case, if it can't be distinctively different, then why bother making it at all?

For an episode that didn't really happen at all, there were some things in it that were interesting and that I hope they keep in the continuity, but will most likely forget about:

1/ T'Pol has an emotional attachment to Archer, which is the real reason that she resigned her Vulcan commission.

2/ Just as Archer always suspected, Soval admits that the Vulcans held back the Human Warp Engine program for 100 years.

3/ Yridians occupy our part of the Galaxy and are known to the Xindii and Denobulans.

4/ Without Archer we will not defeat the Xindii. Archer must make some important decision that Captain T'Pol could not make, otherwise the outcome will remain the same.

5/ Dr MCoy style biobeds are invented in the near future.

6/ The Andorians have proper Shields and are prepared to give the technology to humans.

I have just seen this episode this week. For me series three has been the best so far and has been gathering momentum. This episode is my favourite of all three of the series' so far. It was one of the best scripts (I did not think it was like all good things, because Archer was not shifting through time like Picard was. We just saw random events down the timeline).

I must admit I missed some of the points that Dave pointed out and there were some dramatically important ones there for sure.

Interesting point, I noticed it was directed by Robert Duncan-Mcneil or whatever his name is (Tom Paris)

Great episode.:D
