Anyone familiar with graphic novels?

Anyone read "Watchmen" by Alan Moore?

Perhaps "Dark Knight Returns" by Frank Miller? How about his rendition of "Daredevil"?

How about a dozen or so other short-run titles that became immortalised as graphic novels?

Am I the only one here who has ever read any? ;)

I know Sandman by Neil Gaiman. Seasons of Mists is very beautiful in every sense. I hope to read more.

I have heard of Neil Gaiman. Never knew his novels were illustrated though.

Gaiman has written a lot of graphic novels. Such as the Sandman series. Haven't read them though...

I've most of the first parts of the Bone series. Kind of a Middle-earth meets Bugs Bunny stuff... But don't be put off by that... I really liked it! :)

Neil Gaiman writes novels and graphic novels. The graphic novels have lots of piture but his novels are just words. He's ritten some good things. Black Orchid was very good as well. Sandman is worth reading.

The Sandman series was pretty excellent. I think my first was issue 7, then 12 onwards, I think - right up into the middle of the very last storyline, which I thought was actually quite poor in a lot of ways, hence why I stopped subscribing. Just seemed rushed and ill-thought out.
