That would be interesting if Demolition Man had books on characters like Captain Healy, Chief George Earle, Warden William Smithers, Raymond Cocteau, the forming of San Angeles (also could be graphic novel) and what takes place years after the movie (both novel and graphic novel). The publisher and author for publishing and distributing will need written consent from Warner Brothers (like those who make the Star Wars novels need written consent from George Lucas to do them) because Demolition Man is copyrighted by Warner Brothers. I don't think that Demolition Man did well enough for a saga to it.

I also thought that The 6th Day (starring Arnold Schwarzenegger) had a novel prequel trilogy when we see anti cloning fundmentalists kill those 4 thugs (Taila, Wiley, Vincent and Marshall played by Michael Rooker) and Arnold Schwarznegger's character could transprot some anti cloners in the novel trilogy. The publisher and author will need to have written consent from Phoenix pictures for The 6th Day.

Would I be right in thinking you are a fan of Demolition Man?

Have you tried the books that already exist, there are several, including one by Sylvester Stalone?

Someone told me that there never was Demolition Man prequel or sequel novels. Not even comics. I looked on amazon.com and none. Only the novel based on the movie. I was disappointed not to see Sylvester Stallone's character vs. Jesse Ventura's character fight each other.

The novel of the film is by Sly. But there are two others. What I can't remember is which was the one the film was based upon.

Needless to say, it isn't much like the film.

A lot of books aren't very similar to the movies; some popular ones stay very close... but others don't.

I've seen those movies, but I was never aware of any comics/books/graphic novels for either of them.

There wasn't any. The only Demolition Man comics ever made was the 4 issues based on the movie. There was also a Demolition Man novel based on the movie.

More to say

I could post many good reviews for Demolition Man for those of you who haven't seen it. I don't know where to post movie reviews. I'll look.
