Spike on AtS

Just starting this up --- discuss Spike in his reprised role in the new season of Angel --

Notes:

*Episode specfic details are SPOILER and should be placed under a spoiler tag.

*A Spoiler is -- anything that has not aired in the UK and, generally, anything from the new season is spoiler until the next season begins- so, pretty much - everything for now...

*I know - sounds like a pain, but discussion of episode points is spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the episode.


So why is this thread here? - well, considering half the world knew Spike was moving to AtS before BtVS even ENDED - it's kind of moot -- he's on Angel - everyone knows -- not really spoiler anymore -- but all the plot points and episode specifics are still spoiler -

What has Spike been up to since the end of BtVS S7?

Episode 5.01:

Conviction: 19 days after Sunnydale fell into the hellmouth - Spike gets mailed back to Angel via W&H and his 'essence' is released from that tacky amulet.

Just Rewards: Spike's ghost-like and is looking for a way to not be.

Unleashed: Werewolf time - Spike's still ghosty

Hellbound: Spike is being sucked into hell - and he doesn't like it much. No idea why that would be...

Life of the Party: It's Halloween and Lorne's throwing a party - and for some weird reason, Spike's really happy...

The Cautionary Tale...: Spike's just doing the usual 'pointing out the obvious' kind of stuff like he used to do on BtVS - only, he can't do much more than that b/c he's still ghost-ish

Lineage: Wes' dad's come to visit, and Spike's kind of still not much help - what with being incorporeal and all.

Destiny: Oooh - background on the Spike and Angel relationship - with some Dru too... Very strained there, I think. Spike gets some mail and *flash* he's corporeal again - steals Angel's blood, hugs Gunn, shags Harm and races off to try to beat Angel to the Cup of Perpetual Torment...

Harm's Way: A day-in-the-life of Harmony - so, Spike's not really around much - said he was running off to find the Slayer -- turns out - he didn't go, so he cheers Harm up instead.

Episode 5.10:

Soul Purpose: Spike's chillin' and gets a visitor at the strip club - some guy who gets visions of people in trouble; thus sending Spike out to help the helpless -- so, he's helping and even saves Angel's butt -- what next??
