Shuttle pilots Commissioned Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer-
All small spacecrafts aboard a starship or Starbase (Shuttles, Runabouts, Captain's yacht etc.) are flown by Shuttle Pilots. This is often the proving ground for new CONN Officers until they earn a berth on a starship. Her or his direct superior is the CONN Officer. If the Vessel has a Flight Deck, Shuttle Pilots are in the Flight Deck detachment, under the command of the Wing Commander, otherwise they are Bridge Staff, under the Command of the CONN Department. Flight Chief Non-Commissioned Officer-
The Flight Sergeant/Chief is the senior most enlisted marine/naval NCO in the detachment. It is the Flight Sergeant/Chief responsibility to liaise with the Wing and Assistant Wing Commander in respects to all enlisted personnel and ensure all enlisted officers follow the orders of the officers placed in command of them. The Flight Sergeant/Chief must ensure that all enlisted personnel are trained fully to meet the requirements of the Wing. Maintains communications with the Chief of the Boat, and ensures that all Officers and NCO in the Wing perform to proper protocol.
The Flight Sergeant/Chief is able to act as Wing Commander or Assistant Wing Commander in the absence of a superior member of the Flightier Detachment.
Due to the nature of this position, Marine and/or Naval personnel can perform this role. Min. rank: Staff Sergeant/ Petty Officer 1st Class
Squadron Leader Commissioned Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer-
The Officer or high rated NCO in command of the Squadron below him or her. Required to lead and command the Squadron in and out of combat. Provides training for the Squadron both physically and mentally as well as maintains order and discipline. Reports to the Wing and Asst. Wing Commander.
Due to the nature of this position, Marine and/or Naval personnel can perform this role. Min. Rank: 2nd Lieutenant, Ensign, Staff Sergeant, Petty Officer 1st Class, Warrant Officer.
Assistant Squadron Leader Commissioned Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer-
Asst. to the Squadron Leader, responsible for overseeing the implementing of orders from the Squadron Leader. May be held by any Marine or Naval NCO rate.
