Necrid or Delphic

Ok just a quick question on series 3 Enterprise.

I was under the impression they were in the Necrid Expanse, but the last couple of tv listings have called it the Delphic Expanse.

Am I going mad ? I know there was a Delphic Expanse but I thought that was seen previously, maybe in Next Gen.

I'm a little confused - help me Dave

No, it was always the Delphic Expanse ever since they invented it at the end of Season 2. It's so new that it's not even in the 'Star Trek: Star Charts, The complete atlas of Star Trek' by Geoffrey Mandel, that I only just bought last year

So, don't ask me exactly where it is, or why Kirk and Picard never had to go around it. Maybe it mysteriously disappears!

The Necrid Expanse is in the Delta Quadrant. Voyager ran into it in the episode 'Fair Trade'. Same 'vast territory, thousands of light years wide', but different alien heads

I've obviously watched too many Voyager re-runs lately.
