I need help figuring out what movie this is from

Someone i know bought what is suppose to be a orignal model space ship from a movie. The guy asked me if i could find out what movie or show it is off of becasue the man he purchased it from died in a car wreck. So he has no way of finding out what this ship is from. there are pictures posted @ www.geocities.com/kadfalcon/ship.html I would appericate any help anyone could give me

I thought perhaps one of the Star Wars films but the bottom two don't look right for that one.

I know I've seen it before though.

I think your friend has only got part of the ship, or it has lumps missinf, which will make things even more difficult!

I'm going to move this to Films, where our experts lie. But I'm not sure if we have that level of 'anorak' here at the moment.

If we strike out, you could try the gentlemen at Sciflicks where they are or Rotten Tomatoes Where they may scoff at such a simple question

I also think parts of the model are from Star Wars, the engines especially, but I don't recognise it as a ship. He could have just made the model himself from bit and pieces. Sorry I can't help you. If Ray's suggestions can't help you either then try a major Star Wars site for help such as:

Yes, I think they all are.

But seriously, if it was an original film or TV spacecraft I just thought they would be less obvious in taking Airfix kit parts from another franchise. Fans would spot it. Then again, 'Star Trek' used props from 'The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension', and as you say 'Dr Who' and 'Blakes 7' frequently used recycled parts.

Which only means that it could be anything!

it was not from ESV i found pictures from the guy who made the ship for Earth star Voyager the front was some what simular but the back half was very different. I do want to tank all of you that have atleast tried to help me and i do appricate the you people trying to help figure this out. I am thinking some type of ship from transformers.

If it was from a major movie or series surly someone would have know which ship it was.
