no superpass?

So after three years I have finally convinced my buddy to go with me to gatecon. The problem is now I can't even meet the actors and get autographs because the super pass is sold it. I am so frustrated right now as this have been a very long and difficult task due him being tight with his money. It doesn't seem worth it though as all we wanted was to listen to the panels and get one thing signed by each guest. Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibilities...

#1: Log onto the Gatecon site and get Sue Seeley's mailing address. She's the treasurer for the con and is keeping a list of people who may want to see their superpasses. Let her know what you need.

#2: Sign onto the "GateGoers" email list on Yahoo. It's the unofficial list for the con and events before and after. Folks will often times post there if they need to sell their ticket. We've had two people do that already in just the last week.

#3: Consider getting the tickets now available. There have already been a couple of folks who wanted to 'downsize' their superpass tickets becasue of loss of funds and the need to cutcosts.

And hang in there - it may all work out yet.

I've already checked gategoers and the gatecon site... and the other various and usual searches... and am now making a last ditch effort until July 1st. If I still haven't found a ticket to adopt by then, I'll be spending US Independence Day in an ultimate last ditch effort...

Week before Gatecon is that Stargate Creation Con over in Burbank (?)... This will be thee ultimate deadline for my Gatecon efforts - the quest for the holy pass.

TICKET RESALE INFORMATION!

REMEMBER!

If you sell/trade/buy a ticket to Gatecon you have to do the following before July 1st so Richard can make the changes in the ticket database.

Both seller and buyer need to send Richard Pasco the following:
Full name
Email address
Mailing address
Type of ticket [superpass, tripass, daypass] and ticket number]

Yes, you can do it later, but please don't expect it to have been changed on the database and accept you might have to stand in line for a bit while we sort it all out.

When you pick up your ticket you will need to provide the follow:
* Something that shows your type of ticket and ticket number [like the confirmation email from Richard or a letter/email from the seller]
* A piece of official photo id so we can identify you. Driver's license, passport, student id - these are all one.

Without this, we have no way of knowing if you are the legitimate owner of the ticket. And if we don’t know, I’m going to have to manually go through our database and cross check. With over 700 folks coming, that could slow down your time at the desk.

So, remember: send Richard any changes with the ownership of the ticket ASAP and bring ID.

Oh, I almost forgot… come prepared to have a blast!
