Gatecon I am going to Vancouver Gatecon for the first time.which days thing happend.

Hello I am going to my first convation in vancouver. I would like to know . How do I get a day to day happend at the covatione. I am on a buget so I would like to go to the Cocktail party and when the star will be here for authograhams , I have no clue what go on. I have decide to go to meet other people. I live in the northern parts of canada. NO to many people like SCI-FI. If any one can help me . thank you . please e-mail at roy33@vianet.ca

If you've purchased a 'Superpass', that you already have your ticket in to the cocktail party as that is a part of the ticket. There is currently no other way to get in - we pretty well max out the fire code for the room at 500 people. There's usually a no-host bar set up in the hallway, though and folks wander back and forth from the hall to the hallway and back, so you can join in the fun that way.

There's a Yahoo email list set up for folks going to the con to get to know one another. It's called GateGoers and you're more than welcome to sign up and get to meet us all.
