Yep, according to Stargate News Australia Channel 7 are going to be showing Season 8 and the Wednesday Thursday thing is on for some time

they're in the bordering on kiss of death timeslot

and being given a lower priority then really truly awesomely stupid "reality" programming

heard from ch.7 today that they have only just secured the rights to Atlantis - airing should coincide with season 8
