Woo-hoo! First SG1 Convention!

So, this is the most fun I've had on a weekend since, well, since I can remember. On Saturday, my buddy Scott (zaphod) and I went to NYC to Midtown Comics- both of them! WE were overwhelmed by all the stuff they had at the first place, then they told us there was another one within walking distance that was two floors! So we went there and blew some more hard earned cash!

Sunday we went to NJ to the Official Stargate SG1 Convention!

Here's a shot of the two of us jazzed at the entrance to the con:

To start with, I got to see Teryl Rothery, who plays Dr. Frasier on stage, answering questions- and I told her she looked hot- she told me she has a thing for bald men

Then I listened to Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) do a Q+A- this dude seemed stoned when I met him, but he woke up once he got onstage:

We even caught The beautiful Rachel Luttrell on the way in and she gave us a thumbs up!

She had the male members of the audience absolutley captivated- here she is:

I took a quick photo with Teryl and asked if she'd put her arm around me- she did, and then planted a big ol' kiss on the cheek- what a sport!

Michael and Conventions

Michael has been dealing with not only a punishing shooting and convention schedule, his wife is due to deliver within the month. The poor man is probably exhausted.

Oh, I'm sure- he looked happy to be sitting down, but when he got onstage, he was "on". Very good presence and entertaining.
