Yes, I make and design things, I'm currently applying my knowledge to try to solve a problem that threatens my whole adpoted planet.

Not that I know of, and I would find it highly unlikely.

Yes, the problem is a result of natural causes and as time goes by I see that it could spell disaster.

No, I'm not Noonian Soong, but I am male. It is my occupation that you need to guess, though it will obviously help you if you work out who I am.

In reality I am human, but when I'm doing this job, I believe that I'm someone else of another race, still humanoid though.

I'm not absolutely certain that my occupation is relevant to the ideas I have for saving my world. I'm assuming that because of my trade I am able to make the machinery I have designed, but I need the help of my daughter too.

Neither my daughter or I ever met Mr. Tucker. In fact, we have never met anyone from the Federation or from Earth.

It is the 'alter-ego' that has never met anyone from Earth. They are the one with the occupation that was mentioned in an episode. (In 'reality' I am from Earth)
