Buffy Season 1 poll...

Well I own season one but I'm sure you've seen it all as well. I'm in a Poll roll lately and so I give to you the buffy season 1 poll! What's your fave eppy? I want to know! Please tell us all why you picked the choice that you did.:rolly2:

Mine is Nightmares. It goes into a deeper analysis of our favorite characters and it has a moral at the end that covers a RL predicament.

Hey Asmiley, these polls are a cool idea, hopefully we can get some new discussions going.

I've also voted for "Nightmares", for me it's the only episode that particularly stands out. I think it is one of those episodes that people can really identify with, imagining how they'd cope if their own nightmares came true. And although the show deals with 'real life problems' fairly often, this comes across as one of the most realistic and least contrived, particularly because it doesn't happen to one of the main characters.

And there is some good development of the characters - the show is still fairly new at this point, and "Nightmares" provides a better insight into the minds of the characters, so we can understand and connect with them more.

Er - from S1 - I dunno - I'll have to think...

"Nightmares" is interesting, but it's not my fave...

I'm kinda partial to "Angel" - just b/c it's some character intro stuff - except there's that weird Buffy scream in the middle - and that's just fake-ish.

Dunno - this one I'll have to think on and get back to you...

I voted for "The Harvest" because it nicely furthered the story set up in the first episode, further developed the main characters and featured a cool fight sequence at the end .

I've always liked "Witch".

It's just a good episode and it's our first taste of Buffy dealing with stuff other than vamps, also introduces Amy who of course, causes mayhem further down the line...

Manic Buffy was quite funny too.
