Dear Sci-fi channel
My sincere apologies for interrupting the lonely quest for the 13th colony...a planet known as..Earth, but I have some concerns regarding the portrayal of our efforts in the latest TV series.
As a rag tag fugitive fleet on a mission to save the human race from Baltar and his Cylon bootboys we expect a certain element of misrepresentation from the 6.5 billion humans whose memory we battle to save. But the latest show, is a farce.
Firstly, Lieutenant Starbuck is not female, but a red blooded and somewhat predictable womaniser, who certainly does not condone women in the workplace. Please sack the lovely Katee Sackoff and bring back Face from the A-Team. Alternatively, we would be happy with either David Jason or Jimmy Nail cast in this role.
Secondly, a Cylon in human form is simply out of the question. When we took the decision to jump into any space vessels we could find and boldly retreat from the enemy it was on the understanding that our pursuers were lacking dexterity, and easily identifiable with their shiny armour, Barry White voices, and generally surly demeanour.
I and the other Galacticans are less than impressed.
