DO klingons come from battlestar??

the noman from battlestar first were on in the man with nine lives which aired in feb of 79 and the first time the new klingons were seen was at chirstmas of 79 in the first movie .i saw lance degault who played the leader of the noman at a con in 1980 and he said it made sense to him. hope this post does'nt ruffle two many feathers. but would bet my 1970 enterprise model UNBUILDT , that its true they sure act like the new klingons with there codes and honor and family ties .i wish they had a second season to explore more but thats for a different site . also wish they had a female noman too, fan lore says that in the unshot second season there would have been a female . the klingon females are the hottest women in startrek. love the dumas sisters when they look at rhiker like a hungry cat looks at a mouse .[lol ]from the 13th fleet and we will see you at the officers club first rounds on me. keep them flying cerberus ending transsmision  :D

I won't disagree with that, except that I would say that the codes and ethics, honour and family ties are all taken from even earlier ideas.

What about the Kzinti from Larry Niven's 'Known Space' books (who also featured in the 'Star Trek: Animated Series' episode 'Slaver Weapon')

But I believe the best comparison would be with the Japanese Samurai Warrior culture. Any ancient Earth warrior culture would have similarities, but the Klingons even use Samurai phrases, credo and weapons. A true Samurai might take exception to a Klingon's pride and lust for glory though.

And although the Klingons are warlike and aggressive, they were always honourable too. 'Day of the Dove' TOS shows that, even before they grew bumpy heads.

As usual, no idea is completely original.

thanks dave

good points the klingons are more like the humans than the vulcans somthing i think both races {ALL3?] would not fess up too:rolly2:
