Creation Dallas con Feb. 05

HI all, just wondering who's going to this con. I am interested in going and just wondered if anyone I know is going and if anyone would like to share a room. I'm not 100% sure yet but it's not that far away and I need to get the ball rolling. I have family in Fort Worth so will stay after to visit them. Been there lots of times years ago, but not recently. Never done a con there before though. I've done Creation cons so know how they do things but was wondering how the hotel is, number of fans that come, stuff like that. Feel free to post here or email me off list. I may be going to the Dallas con. At this point I am not really sure yet. It depends on my finances.

I have only been to one con. Last year in Burbank. It was great fun. I couldn't believe how nice all the stars were. Everyone was so nice. Its too bad Amanda Tapping won't be there but its understandable.

Sharing a room is a good idea I did that last year by dragging my friend with me. We drove from Portland, Or down to Burbank. That was quite an adventure in its self.

HI Jackslover, nice to hear from ya. I think I'll be needing a roomie as Robin can't make it. The rooms are 99 a night plus tax so I'm thinking about 115 to 120 a night. So, if it's split it's only about 60 bucks a night. I'd only be staying Friday and Saturday night and leaving on Sunday to visit relatives. So if you do decide to go and would like to share a room then let me know.

Just to let you and anyone else that might be interested know...I am a severe non-smoker, I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, I don't snore and prefer others that don't snore, I'm just a light sleeper and wake up easily but it's not a great big deal cause I probably won't be in the room that much anyway. I do shower twice a day usually and take a bit of time to get ready, but I'm fun and crazy and know all the guests that will be there so you never know who might stop by.

I've been to all the Gatecons even though I don't have pictures up yet, I'm working on it.
