ASIA DISASTER APPEAL

In light of the tragedies unfolding in Asia following the earthquake
and tsunamis Gatecon plans to hold a series of special auctions to raise funds for the disaster appeal. We hope this will be a suitable way for fandom to get involved.

We would like to invite forum members to donate items they feel would be suitable and popular with fellow fans - these could be props, costumes, signed photos etc from any shows or movies.

If you would like to take part please email Richard at
gatecon.c4@virgin.net with the subject line Asia Appeal.
Please include a description of any item/s you wish to donate and
where possible include a photograph which can be used on the auction page. Photographs should be no more than 72dpi or 500 pixels wide.

Please bear in mind we would also ask that the people donating items also ship to the winning bidders. Every penny raised will be sent to the American Red Cross - Gatecon will be covering all administration costs (including charges made by the credit card companies).

Please send details of donations to me by Saturday 8th January
latest as we would like to run the auctions as soon as possible.

Gatecon Auctions - get a personalised RDA signed photo...
Hi folks,

Many thanks for the response so far for donations for the Asia Appeal Auction.

Items will be highlighted on the Gatecon site ahead of the auctions which start on January 15th (and run for one week), but here is a run down of the items promised to date:

• SG1 Mousepad

• Set of 5 Stargate Shooting Schedules
• Dannycat (or other) stuffed animal
• 4 hand made boas (scarves not snakes!!!)
