. I discovered anime in the early 1990s through a Nintendo Power review of an imported Ranma 1/2 video game. After watching Volume One of Ranma 1/2 on VHS (dubbed, but I'm now devoted to subtitled anime), I was hooked. I also discovered manga through Rumiko Takahashi--specifically the second issue of Maison Ikkoku. My favorite anime includes Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, My Neighbor Totoro, Dirty Pair, Outlaw Star, and Ranma 1/2 . My favorite manga includes Gunsmith Cats , Oh! My Goddess, Akira, Maison Ikkoku, What's Michael? and Mai the Psychic Girl . I look forward to posting here, as well as to getting to know everyone !
