This ep was great, McKay does seem to be getting more hopeless with guns though but he was cool with Ford and poor Ford! He's so out of it right now. ROnin looks cool hopefully he won't be a Tyr clone.

In the previous episodes I thought it was cheesy to have Ford change like he did, but this episode proved that it was a very smart move.

I really enjoyed this episode.
Having an insider on the run with his own agenda is great.

Ford isn't as alien as the wrath. Ford knows the tactics that will be used against him.

As messed up as he is he is believably portrayed as thinking he's okay, even better than okay.

I miss Ford, thought the exchanges tween Ford and McKay were funny, especially when mckay shot him. That was classic. I really like Ronin, although he's not what you call verbose huh?

It was a great episode, we have the opportunity to see Ford again. I really enjoy his interaction with McKay. Also they introduce the new character, Ronon. So far so good, is going to be cool to learn more about him. It was interesting to see about his planet and that they have a military force. Shame it was completely destroyed looks like good allies to have against the Wraith.

Also is going to be interesting to see more about Ford, now that the Wraith have him.

Krystal :p

Atlantis again showed how superior to SG-1 it has become. The new Ford and Ronin characters are going to be a great addition.

They should lose Caldwell though, he's holding on to his grudge about not getting the job way too long. I'm surprised no one has asked what's up with him. I assume Weir didn't share her knowledge of her meeting, but the faces of Shephard and Teyla at the end of the episode showed that they can't understand why he's so grumpy and unfair.

Sheppard and Caldwell are going to come to blows sooner or later the way things are going, you can see the interference with his decision making already beginning to chafe with Sheppard.

McKay was annoying today, overdid the whole "routine" IMO.

This thing with Ford, we've sen it before, is it going to play out like it did with Sg-1 and the Tok'ra forearm band things. The ones Enice wasn't it, brought with her to the SGC. You'd think so, either the dependency is removed as are his "powers" or he dies at some point using them to defend Atlantis.

I don't know how superior Atlantis is necessarily, personally i think both series are still getting going, with Sg-1 a bit further progressed in some ways IMO, but the introduction of the new character today will push things along.

thanks

Nick,

Its good to see that Ford is still around, I like rainbow and the bucky youn gofficer was a good addition to the team. I dont really like this wirath hybrid type story as it can only lead to one ending.

As for Ronin, why do they feel the need to have a Tealc clone!! You will see his uber soldiers skills come out.

Got to agree with Caldwell and why is the Deadulas still knocking around ?

What about touching base with the communities that were attacked by the wraith?

what about the Geni?

What about the planet with the antidote to Wraith feeding?

And so on... but no, now we have some moody untalkative 8ft super soldier with no real home to go to!

I liked SGA becuase it was pretty much original even though it is inthe SG universe. I hope they havent lost that touch!!

I think that's what creeped me out the most about him. Other than when he's 'obviously crazy', he's still pretty Ford like.

I'm not so sure Caldwell was actually that wrong, as much as i like Ford, he is a threat especially if the Wraith get their hands on him and he lets slip that Atlantis hasn't been destroyed. I did think bringing up Sumner was making it a little too personal.

Not sure about Ronon yet. He definetly has the "uber soldier" thing going, but i'm hoping he'll have some redeeming qualities too. Was he almost crying at the end when he found out about his home world?

Major Lorne has come a long way from his SGC days. His snarking with McKay was really funny. And he's going to be a semi-regular!

I usually don't like Dr. Beckett, but he was also got some great lines in this ep.
I don't suppose an operating room and a bloody army will fit through the Gate.
And his entire conversation with Sheppard just before dealing with Ronon. LOL :D
