Demand for Dr Who jackets

Dr Who has sparked a demand for leather jackets.

Dr Who, played by Christopher Eccleston has appeared in a £200 Ben Sherman Jacket in the new series.

Retailers say demand for the jackets has been high reports 'The Sun'.

A spokesman for Littlewoods said:"It's a must have. He's the nation's new hero."

This originates from 'The Sun' newspaper (need I say more?) and quotes a single retailer, but there certainly has been a lot of interest in this new series, especially among a younger generation who can't remember the original.
