Fans Queuing Outside Wrong Cinema

from Hailing Frequencies #290

Hundreds of Star Wars fans are already in line at Mann's Chinese Theater, but to seem a little less like hopeless nerds, they do have a charity campaign going for the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. You can call the ner -- uh, fans at a public payphone (323) 462-9609 and...I dunno. Call them nerds, I guess. The special rate for the call will go to the charity. The Liningup.net Web site says it has raised more than $6.200 in pledges this way.
But they are in the wrong place...

Star Wars fans queue outside wrong cinema

Star Wars fans who have spent the last seven weeks queuing for the opening of the new film have been told they are camping outside the wrong cinema.

Fans camping outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood have been told Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will open on 19 May at the ArcLight cinema a mile away.

However, the fans are refusing to move, believing the news to be false reports BBC online.

Revenge of the Sith will be the last of three prequels to the original 1977 science fiction classic.

I've never queued more than a couple of hours for anything, and even then I always questioned whether it was really worth it. I guess raising money for charity makes it a more useful activity though.

well i love SW and will be watching the movie like 3 to 4 times opening day, i still wont be in line any more then 3 hours before hand:rolly2:
