A tale of socery, treachery, intrigue and supernatural strife.
Actually, this is a kind of sequel to his first book 'Shadowmancer'. http://64.46.119.37/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20235
I didn't realise it at first, but the bad 'guys' are related.
I didn't think it was as good as 'Shadowmancer'. The attention to detail and atmosphere in his books is great, but the stories need more intrigue.
It is London, 1756. In his Bloomsbury attic sits Dr Sabian Blake - astronomer, scientist, and master of the Cabala. Dr Blake is in the possesion of the Nemorensis, and ancient leather-bound book that holds the secrets of the universe. Scribbled into one of its margins is a mysterious prohesy, and deciphering it could prove the key to saving London from a catastrophic fate. But others are interested in the Nemorensis too, for more sinister reasons...
His third book 'Tersias' is due in later this year (2005.)
