The new dates are August 7th - 13th 2006
Monday 7th to Thursday 10th - sightseeing tours to be announced.
Thursday 10th - main registration day.
Friday 11th to Sunday 13th - main convention days.
Following its huge success in Vancouver over the last six years, Gatecon takes on an international flavour for 2006 with its first UK convention.
Staged at a ultra-modern, multi-purpose Centaur Convention Centre located in the heart of the Cotswolds, Gatecon 2006 will consist of three days of on-stage events, (plus registration day) and a planned further three days of optional sightseeing excursions with other exciting activities that include guest participation to ensure your UK experience is truly unforgettable.

- Guests take Centaur Stage! Question and Answer sessions in the high-tech theatre-style auditorium
Autograph and Photograph Sessions (limited admission)
Dealer's Room and all-new Gatecon merchandise
Optional Banquet (limited admission) in the magnificent Panoramic Restaurant overlooking the world-famous Cheltenham Racecourse
Evening entertainment including a Meet 'n' Greet with the actors (limited admission), Charity Auction (open to all), Disco (open to all)
A raffle or online auction for a sunrise hot air balloon flight with an actor! So far we have two potential guests expressing an interest in this so watch out for further announcements (if weather prevents flying we will hold a Champagne Breakfast) Optional Sightseeing tours by bus visiting some of the most popular and beautiful locations in the region. Planned trips include; Trip 1 - Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury. Trip 2 - Bath and Wells. Trip 3 - The Cotswolds. Trip 4 - Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare.
A raffle or online auction for an evening trip to Stratford-upon-Avon with one of our guest actors to see a Shakespeare play (at this stage likely to be Romeo and Juliet or Much Ado About Nothing)
