Just in case anyone hasn't seen this and is interested :D

The final wave of UK advanced screenings for Serenity are on sale here :D

Just bought mine and am *very* excited :D

Thanks for that, I'd really like to but the time and venues are not conveinient, so I guess I'll just have to wait until the 30th! :(

From reading the Firefly boards it seems like everyone has already seen the film. Am I going to be the last person to see it? :(

Yeah, it does seem like that!

huh? reading my last comment, i meant that it seems like everyone's already seen it, not that you're gonna be the last one too ;)

Also the advanced screening was very cool and included a message from Joss Whedon! :D

hmm i think it's probably a good idea to wait til everyone's seen it. I was avoiding spoilers like the plague and so was completely taken back by everything that happened.

But you can read Joss's welcome message. It's very cool and spoiler free....well i guess it would have to be... ;)

One part of that I didn't quite get: "You could just be a tie, or a sweater vest, or Lederhosen." I took that as an analogy, meaning that not everyone is a fanatical fan who dresses up in a Browncoat. I guess I'm just a tie or sweater fan myself. ;)

But then he goes on to thank "particularly my Lederhosen fans." Is that 'particularly my German fans'? Or is there some element of the Whedon fandom who like dressing in Lederhosen that I've somehow missed up until now? Do they also like 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'?
