My name is Jeff Lilly, and I am one of the writers working on the new editions of the Terran Trade Authority Handbooks . Who out there remembers these? They were probably the biggest influence on my early love of SF. Now, I'm lucky enough to be writing them...
The artwork is going to feature the same ships but will be entirely new (as Morrigan's license doesn't allow us to use the original art). Adrian Mann is the artist behind the new images. The text is being expanded and will feature new background information and ship descriptions, but keeps intact the sense of mystery that made the originals so fun.
The new edition (the timeline has also been advanced 100 years) will be out in major bookstores and online in June. In July, an RPG supplement will be released to plug the TTA into Morrigan's Omni universal RPG System. Many more projects soon to come as well.
