Not a well known comic but it was one of my favourites, as I digged the story line.

I fell in love with the name Torin, would've called my boy that (if i had one). I'm going through the entire series again, and enjoying it all over again .

Comic Tagline: A Celtic Barbarian in the Far Flung Future

Basics from my words not the authors:
Torin is a loving father, devoted husband and a master warrior. He is a Celt, living in Britain at the time when Merlin was alive and the Roman empire was a vast force to be reckoned with.

Roman's attack his village and either kill or enslave his people. Torin fights against the Roman onslaught pretty much single handed, but the Roman's have greater numbers and they eventually close in around him. At the point when Torin leaps to his death amongst several pointed spears - he vanishes.

Torin comes to inside a spaceship called the Jolly Roger. He his flung into the future to help save Earth from annihilation. The person that has brought him there is a mysterious woman called Tamara...


I'd attached a cover of one of the comics but I'm not sure if that would be legal or not.
